Monday by declaring herself pro-life, pro-gun and pro-small business."In Massachusetts, the people rose up and reclaimed their seat in the U.S. Senate in an election that's been compared to 'the shot heard around the world,'" McGlowan, a former Fox News Channel contributor, said in a statement. "But that was just the beginning, let the rebellion in the House of Representatives start right here in Mississippi."

ReplyDeleteMy name is Jill Christopher and I am writing to all of you about my husband, Steve Christopher. On Monday, Feb. 8, the Dayton Daily News announced his candidacy for Ohio Attorney General against Mike DeWine in the May Republican primary. Steve was chosen by some Cincinnati-area tea party groups as a candidate that they could believe in for the AG position, in a bit of whirlwind process. Consequently, there is not much information available about Steve on the Internet at this time. We are in the process of getting him a website, and even a few managers for his campaign.
I believe that you will find Steve to be a candidate worthy of your support and endorsement. I will start with his position on gun rights, and then move on to the other stuff. Steve has loved hunting and shooting since he was a little boy. He has been an NRA member for many years, and has been a life member for a number of years. He also has been a member of the Ohio Gun Collectors’ Association for many years. He has supported the Second Amendment Foundation, and has his CCW license. In fact, our three children and I all know how to shoot and handle firearms, and I passed my CCW exam over a year ago. Steve believes in the literal interpretation of our United States Constitution, which of course emphasizes the importance of armed citizens. We are an armed family.
Steve is not a career politician, but an attorney with a successful 26-year practice in Findlay, primarily, and Kenton. He is a township trustee in Hardin County, where he has lived for most of his life. We have been married for 26 years, and have three children, two in college and one who is a senior in high school. We attend New Hope Fellowship Church in Kenton. Steve believes in the sanctity of human life – young, old, and in the womb. That is, he is pro-life. He is also a co-founder of the Kenton tea party organization.
Steve decided to run against Mike DeWine for attorney general when it became apparent that there was going to be no one running against the liberal-leaning candidate. Though Steve supported DeWine earlier in DeWine’s political career, it became very apparent later that DeWine did not represent the conservative ideology that we hold dear. Steve felt strongly enough about the lack of a conservative voice in the AG race that, against all odds and a formidable political machine, someone should oppose DeWine. With the backing of some Cincinnati tea party groups, his candidacy was announced. We have only a miniscule “war chest” in comparison to DeWine’s, and so will have to rely on grassroots support and the miracle of the Internet, as well as hopefully radio, television, and newspaper interviews to get the word out. We also need to build our own “political machine” to arrange for speaking engagements and other opportunities to get the word out about Steve’s conservative philosophy.
In the next week, Steve will have a basic website. For now, though, you can listen to a speech that he gave in September on the Constitution on YouTube.com (search for steve christopher tea party – the speech is broken into three segments on YouTube).
If you like what you have heard about Steve, he could really use your help, with an official public endorsement, warm bodies to help with arranging speaking engagements and to pass out literature and information, and any dollars that you could spare. Until a website is ready, Steve can be reached on MWF at his Findlay office at 419-422-7176 and at his Kenton office on TTH at 419-673-1570. He has been returning all calls personally and is still working in his legal practice.
