Cashing in! 18,709 VA employees earn $180,000 or more

In the odd chance that recent investigations into the Veterans Administration have enkindled a bit of sympathy for the hard working doctors and bureaucrats who do yeomen's work for too little pay rest easy. Too little pay is a subject judgment and very few of VA's 342,089 employees work cheaply. A thousand of them make less than $20,000 but 59,297 or 17.3% of the workforce earn more than $100,000 with 18,709 earning more than $180,000 per annum.
