Perrysburg IHOP raided

  It looks like we've had a little excitement in town, recently updated on Channel 11's website which is linked from the Drudge Report. Surprisingly, 11's website hasn't crashed yet from that link.

  Anyway the Perrysburg IHOP is one of 7 that were raided by various government entities; 6 of the IHOP are in the Toledo area and 1 in Evansville. 

  The allegations seem to revolve around "money laundering" and "undocumented workers."

  From Channel 11's website:

All seven of the restaurants are owned by Terry Elk. Elk is from our area and WFIE, our sister station in Evansville, Indiana, confirmed Terry Elk's real name is Tarek Elkafrawi.
The FBI told WTOL they raided two homes and two storage units have also been searched. A source tells us the storage units were rented by Maazen Kadir.

  Usually we live in a quiet unexciting part of the country. We prefer to keep it that way.
