Why the rush?

Kathleen Parker is "conservative" the way David Brooks is "conservative." That would be, a shufflin' smilin' suckup to the liberal establishment devoid of real principle not based on expediency. This maintains one's place in the party circuit in D.C., which is considered essential to be near the seat of power. Even Kathleen Parker says no.
