An orgy of stupid

(Groan) This story is just so inane I can't really run it down. You just have to read it for yourself. It involves the brilliant Joy Behar, who requires nothing more than an article in TV Guide to get started on how stupid she thinks conservatives are and, of course, Sarah Palin. Just read it. Ace tries not to lose his temper as he relates the tale:

A point I've made to death is that part of the appeal of liberalism for the intellectually insecure is the belief that simply buying into liberalism makes one smarter. Here, we have a couple of yentas who are scientifically illiterate talking about how scientific they are.

(In case you'd forgotten, tsunamis are not a weather-related phenomenon, but are tidal waves caused by underwater earthquakes and such.)
