New Jeb Bush ad blurs the line between compassion and pandering

I didn't know it was contagious but I feel a case of Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS) coming on. The Bush campaign has released the video below to assure everyone that Saint Jeb the Magnificent really cares about domestic violence, autism, women and minorities. Yes, Bush has set himself apart from the rest of the Republican field. The others speak of principles and challenge the nation to be all it can be. They acknowledge that resources are finite and wants are infinite but with Bush it's Here Comes Santa Clause.
The Republican Party cannot afford to get in a bidding war for the dependency vote with Hillary and company and the country can afford neither. The choice between a washed up, patrician, Rino and corrupt, nouveau riche grandma is not much of a choice.
"What difference, at this point, does it make?"
