EPA shoots down Gasland hoax

Oh how will we explain this to Josh Fox and his Hollywood friends. You will recall that Fox produced the highly fictionalized documentary, GasLand which was nominated for an Oscar. If you had the good fortune to miss this opus the upshot of Gasland is fracking is contaminating the nation's water supply. Not so says none other than the EPA. Other than in a few select areas, the report found fracking's potential impact on drinking water quality is relatively low. Naturally the EPA had to cite potential danger, if not the actual pollution of drinking water, to mollify Fox and friends but the draft of the study which has yet to be made public  is a great deal less than a ringing hosanna to the fear fracking frenzy the left has advanced.
"We did not find evidence that these mechanisms [of potentially affecting water] have led to widespread, systemic impacts on drinking water resources in the United States," the report said
