Jesus, help me!

When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of all who had been martyred for the word of God and for being faithful in their testimony. 10They shouted to the Lord and said, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you judge the people who belong to this world and avenge our blood for what they have done to us?” 11Then a white robe was given to each of them. And they were told to rest a little longer until the full number of their brothers and sistersf—their fellow servants of Jesus who were to be martyred—had joined them.
The last words spoken by many of the Coptic Christian martyrs for Christ was "Jesus, help me."
I too ask that "Jesus, help me," as I cannot ameliorate my grief at a golf course over the beheading of human beings, particularly those of my faith for their faith.
The sea ran red with their blood but now their struggle is ended; they stand in glory, along with the other saints, victorious in Christ.
  Their blood will be avenged.

O New Martyrs, through a malevolent force as old as Eden you now number among the ancient holy ones; keep us particularly in your prayers, as once again we are focused on the mysterious lands where humanity first came into being, and into knowing, and where all will finally be revealed. Pray that we may put aside all that is irrelevant to the moment and, looking forever to the East, prepare our spirits for the engagements into which we may be called, whether we live amid these places of ancient roads and portals, or in the most modern of dwellings.
Mary, the God-bearer, pray for us,
Saint Michael the Archangel, pray for us,
Saint John the Forerunner, pray for us,
All Holy Men and Women, pray for us.
Amen, Amen.
