Obama Administration suffers 9-0 Supreme Court loss

One down and two to go! Can the Obama Administration once again manage to lose 3 Supreme Court decisions 9-0. Last year it was able to pull off the hat trick. It lost when the court sided unanimously with the Sacketts and against the EPA over a wet lands dispute. It lost again when the EEOC thought it, not the Lutheran Church, should select its ministers in the Hosanna-Tabor case. It lost unanimously a third time when in the Texas redistricting case.
Today the Court threw out the conviction of Carol Anne Bond who had been convicted of violating the international Convention on Chemical Weapons when she smeared a chemical on a romantic rival's car door, mailbox and apartment doorknob. She was prosecuted by federal authorities for knowingly using a chemical weapon.
"In sum, the global need to prevent chemical warfare does not require the Federal Government to reach into the kitchen cupboard, or to treat a local assault with a chemical irritant as the deployment of a chemical weapon," Chief Justice John Roberts wrote.
The 8 other justices agreed.
