Charges filed against UC Santa Barbara professor for stealing protestors' sign

The young anti abortion protestors who had their sign stolen at the University of California Santa Barbara will get their day in court. Dr. Mireille Miller-Young, an associate professor with UCSB’s Feminist Studies Department has been charged with three misdemeanors, theft, battery, and vandalism. You may view the press release here.
In her statement to police which you may read here, Miller-Young explained that she felt “triggered” by the images on the signs and posters. Feeling triggered often happens to good people on the left who live in the passive voice. They are stampeded into illegal acts by words and actions of others. They don't behave badly. They are forced into bad actions. It's not as if they ever lie rather the "fact are misrepresented" by unnamed actors. They careen through life like so many billiard balls always being propelled by others, never acting, only reacting to malevolent forces beyond their control. Life's a bitch!
