Bobby Schilling is back

One of the most likeable Tea Party candidates swept into office in 2010 was Bobby Schilling of Illinois' 17th congressional district. The affable father of 10 and operator of Saint Giuseppe's Heavenly Pizza lost his seat in 2012 to Cheri Butros after the the district was made more Democratic by the 2010 redistricting. Yesterday both he and Butros ran unopposed in the Illinois primary.
Schilling is facing a huge funding gap as Butros has raised over $600,000 PAC money but enthusiasm will sometimes trumps cash as it did in the special election in Florida's 13th special election where Alex Sink out spent David Jolly 4 to 1 in her losing effort.
