Even Russians see MSNBC's bias

As others see us! Garry Kasparov ruled the chess world from 1985 until his retirement in 2005. Many argue he was the greatest player ever but I'm not inclined to go quite that far. In any event he is quite political and adamantly anti Putin. He is also a prolific Twitter user. If you thought MSNBC's pro Obama bias was something that only you and your Tea Party friends perceived; think again. The whole world knows. Admittedly Kasparov is more politically sophisticated than the average Russian, or American for that matter, but he nails MSNBC for what it is.
He contends that Putin subtlety controls the Russian internet.

Putin's problem is how to censor internet without big backlash. So targeting carefully so far, but "Iron Firewall" infrastructure in place.

As a result few Russians get their news from the internet.

Relatively few Russians use the internet for news, however. So state-controlled TV propaganda still dominant in much of country.
