The question is: how do these people get these jobs?
She's the epitome of what is wrong with politics. She looks like she's been out of college for a few years, got caught up in a campaign that elevated her magically into the political stratosphere whereupon she bought herself some fake glasses.
Incompetent, nasty people like this--and like that horrible Lerner woman and the equally horrible Psaki creature--have weaseled their way into positions of power and won't ever, ever be fired because they know too much about the inner machinations of this corrupt administration.
Harf obviously thinks she's too cute for the rest of us as is obvious in the incredible video below. THIS is arrogance encapsulated. Look here to see the "sexy" comparison of Psaki and Harf.
Iraq is currently going to hell, including an al Qaeda black flag planted at Fallujah. Obama has abandoned it; Harf was put on the spot by an AP reporter (is even the AP getting fed up?) who wanted to know why Obama's abandoned the Iraqis.
Matt Lee and Marie Harf have disagreed before. She loses her temper frequently.
Real Politics has the transcript and the video of the sassy Ms. Harf's inability to answer questions:
MATT LEE, ASSOCIATED PRESS: Without relitigating the decisions that were made in the last term or over the past couple years, can you just address the suggestion in one of the earlier questions that the United States abandoned Iraq?
MARIE HARF, STATE DEPARTMENT: Well, I would fundamentally disagree with it. Just because we don’t have troops on the ground doesn’t mean we don’t have a continuing close partnership with the Iraqi Government. You see that all the time from the assistance we give them. We talked a little bit about it over the Christmas holiday, I think, some of the additional military assistance we’ve given them. So we don’t define a relationship with a country based on boots on the ground. In fact, it’s the opposite. We very much have a close and continuing partnership and we’ll keep working with them on this joint threat.
