It's just so schadenfreudelicious

  Perhaps you remember the Aesop Fable about the person who picks up a nearly frozen snake out of mercy and nurses it back to health only to be bitten when it recovers. "Why," the person/farmer/woman cries, "did you bite me when I was kind to you?" to which the snake replies calmly, "You knew I was a snake when you put me in your pocket."

  Barack Obama is a community organizer, not a community builder; the function of such an individual is to organize what he sees as the "powerless" against the "powerful" and "advantaged." 
  The problem for America is that Obama perceives all individuals who are successful non-Leftists as advantaged. Wikipedia:

Community organizing is a process where people who live in proximity to each other come together into an organization that acts in their shared self-interest. Unlike those who promote more-consensual community building, community organizers generally assume that social change necessarily involves conflict and social struggle in order to generate collective power for the powerless.

  Obama's goal has never been to unite people, regardless what he may have said in various speeches. Our foolishness (not me, of course) has been in ever believing that Obama cares about most of the people in this country.
  What Barack Obama really cares about is himself.
  It's just remarkable that he is so blatantly and despicably obvious about hating the average middle class working person.
  It's been fascinating to watch as his work as a community organizer for Leftists all falls apart as even they turn against him.
  It's always been Obama's method to divide rather than unite people, but he's failed miserably at convincing anyone of his political acumen this last week. He's been cranking out the Kool-Aid bubbles as big and fast as he can, but only flailed as he airily bumbled his lies with more lies.
  Do Leftists not realize that half the country knew what a fraud Obamacare is from the beginning? That it would ruin health care in this country? 
  Thousands of people flooded Washington when this mess began years ago, demanding that Democrats stop what they were doing instead of selfishly wielding their power as a few hundred politicians over the hundreds of millions of people who live in this country.
  How happy they were. 
  How satisfied.
  How anointed.
  How righteous.
  Nancy Pelosi et al made a point to walk triumphantly through the crowd of protesters, laughing at them, acting the overbearing bullies they are.
  Burned indelibly in our memories is this iconic photograph:

  

  Note the carefully matched purple pumps, the laughing head thrown back in exultation, the flush of success on the tight face, the gloat of the "BFD" just passed. 

  These people chose to walk through the protesters rather than taking the tunnel that would have avoided the crowds.

  Yet CNN's Jake Tapper could not find a Democrat to discuss Obamacare enrollment numbers. 

  Well, well, well.

  Did we expect it to go down in flames so soon? 

  Not really. Leftists do a pretty good job holding things together as an organized bloc so it's a surprise that it happened so quickly and utterly .

  Even their Leftist friends in the state insurance regulatory bodies now reject the "fix" Obama proposed.

  Of course Leftists knew you couldn't keep your doctor or your policy. Of course they knew.

  They just think that all Americans are stupid, stupid enough to go along with the lies, and they could skunk away without any consequences.

  I was in a doctor's office the other day; I'm still seething from a conversation I had with a trainee who is an obvious Leftist. 

  The meme has already changed from "We didn't know you'd lose your doctor" to "Americans should have to pay maternity and pediatric care for others because it's just like paying your property taxes to put kids through school."

  Meh. Don't think that one's going to work either. It's just too stupid.

  With their usual hubris, the Obama administration did not consult with any insurance personnel before  decreeing his miraculous "fix" that would, of course, pit one group (insurance companies) against another (purchasers) and actually make things worse. 

  One hopes we survive without too much permanent damage from this presidency.

  Allow me this one moment of schadenfreude, expressed so well by Jonah Goldberg over at NRO in his perspicacious piece called "Obamacare Schadenfreudarama":

If you can’t take some joy, some modicum of relief and mirth, in the unprecedentedly spectacular beclowning of the president, his administration, its enablers, and, to no small degree, liberalism itself, then you need to ask yourself why you’re following politics in the first place. Because, frankly, this has been one of the most enjoyable political moments of my lifetime. I wake up in the morning and rush to find my just-delivered newspaper with a joyful expectation of worsening news so intense, I feel like Morgan Freeman should be narrating my trek to the front lawn. Indeed, not since Dan Rather handcuffed himself to a fraudulent typewriter, hurled it into the abyss, and saw his career plummet like Ted Kennedy was behind the wheel have I enjoyed a story more.

  I predicted this day was coming, writing that now that Obama had won a second term, we'd be able to watch Leftists' own arrogance take them over that cliff Paul Ryan owns.
  Who knows how this will end. Will it be the end of liberalism's current popularity in this country, as Dr. Krauthammer suggests? Will Republicans find an eloquent leader that can unite the country? Will citizens finally understand that this country's ominous debt has fateful implications for our way of life?
  We do not know.
  But watching the squirming as Leftists have gotten exactly what they wanted (and deserve) is, well, schadenfreudelicious.
  And so we come full circle to another Aesop Fable, one about a tortoise and an eagle, the moral of which is to consider carefully what you're asking for.
  Because of those nasty unintended consequences.
