Meet Mike Stopa Candidate for Congress

While the ethically challenged are certainly over represented throughout the entire Northeast nowhere is that more true than in the state of Massachusetts. From Barney Frank who once had a male prostitution ring operating out of his home, to John Tierney whose wife did federal time for tax fraud, to the late Senator Kennedy, the hero of Chappaquiddick the Bay State has provided the nation with a steady string of derelicts masquerading as statesmen. I'm not getting my hopes up but Harvard Nanophysicist Mike Stopa would certainly break that mold. Stopa is running in a special election to fill the seat of Ed Markey, who was elected to the Senate thereby confirming the veracity of the Peter Principle.
I would have to make Stopa a long shot, but still it is refreshing to hear a candidate from Massachusetts who actually makes sense. Witness this erudite critique of the global warming hysteria.

It's been awhile, if ever, since we have seen a campaign ad this thoughtful. Here is his campaign site.
