Why is it the foreign media has all the ethical employees? Twenty-two Al Jazeera employees resigned last week in protest of the news agency's pro Muslim Brotherhood stance including Karem Mahmoud, a former anchor for Al-Jazeera. Maybe because of shame our own media has neglected this story completely. How many American journalists have resigned over their employer's bias?
Former Al-Jazeera correspondent Haggag Salama, another resigned employee, accused the network of “airing lies and misleading viewers.” Another former employee, journalist Abdel Latif el-Menawy, called Al-Jazeera a “propaganda channel” for the Muslim Brotherhood.
Gee, maybe Andrea Mitchell should resign over NBC's selective editing of the 911 call by George Zimmerman but "airing lies and misleading viewers" is what NBC does best.
