Dem: you don't need a weapon cuz you'll be dead anyway

Yeah, this is absolutely the most arrogant, 1%er, disassociated comments you'll ever see in your life. Well, so far anyway. And that's saying a lot, considering who's in charge in many areas of this country.
This elected WOMAN tells an elderly gentleman concerned about Colorado's snatching of his guns and magazines that he really needn't worry about being assaulted since he'll probably be dead by the time the police get there anyway.
When you watch the video be sure to note the contempt on her face and in her voice as she plays to a laughing audience. It's pretty darned sickening.
After she tells the gentleman that he can just call the Denver PD and he'll probably be dead anyway, she makes this utterly inane comment, indicating she doesn't know what the hell she's talking about regarding weapons or ammo:
"What's the efficacy of banning these magazine clips? I will tell you, these are ammunition, they're bullets, so the people who have those now, they're going to shoot them" says Rep DeGette. According to her, "the number of these high capacity magazines is going to decrease dramatically over time because the bullets will be shot and there won't be any more available."
We might note that the Denver Police Department is concerned about their own response time.
If you're assaulted violently in Denver, you can count on at least a 17 minute response time, which they'd like to get down to 5-7 minutes.
So, yeah, DIANE girl, an intruder with a weapon would probably kill you before the cops got there.
Which (Die quickly!) is pretty much the response from Democrats to any problems Americans have these days, including cancer patients who are suffering from "sequester" cutbacks, no matter that the White House continues to party on and that the "sequester" cutbacks are a mere 2% cut in the INCREASE of government spending this year and that the government will still spend MORE this year than last year.
Oh, and, hey, Obama's taking a 5% government salary cut to be in solidarity with you little people out there, an act which even The Atlantic sees as "stupid" and phony.
