Tofu or turkey?

Roast Turkey
Paul McCartney says to say no to turkeys for Thanksgiving. Go "cruelty free." Go vegetarian. Or maybe even go tofu.
  What do you think?
To turkey or not to turkey?
Tofu

Colman McCarthy, peace activist and anarchist but I repeat myself, provides a real roast turkey buzz kill; he appears on tv now and then around TG and says stuff like this about turkeys
I insist on using accurate language to describe Thanksgiving: our only national holiday focused on a corpse, a turkey's. Even then, that's not really the full story. The Thanksgiving cadaver is a chemicalized, antibiotic-laced, bioengineered blob of high-fat, high-cholesterol flesh that is part of the food chain because the National Turkey Federation, among other vested interests, stakes large amounts of advertising and promotional money to dupe the public into equating their birds -- profitable "production units" -- as essential to Thursday's celebration of the fall harvest.
Oh, in case you've forgotten, Patriot Walt Churchill's Market in Perrysburg has the best meat in Northwest Ohio, plus you can still get a fresh free range turkey there for Thanksgiving Day.
  It's not too late.
Or you could do the whole tofu thing.
I'm sure it also is delicious deep fried and stuffed.
