Romney Up 5 in IBD/Tripp Poll

The new IBD/Tripp poll gives Romney a 5 point lead over Obama, 43.7% to 48.7 with 6.1% undecided. The internals of the poll are amazing. Romney has a 20 point lead among independents and the gender gap is down to just 8 % while Obama pulls only 28% of the white male vote. Among Catholics Obama pulls just 43 % and among Jews 47%. These are two key demographics that have provided past Democrat presidential candidates the margin needed for victory but are now AWOL.
