Think City Helps Sink City of Elkhart

Think City is a two seated vehicle, and I deliberately avoid the noun automobile, produced by Think Global, a Swedish manufacturer which is now in its fourth bankruptcy. With a top speed of 68 miles per hour to bring out the dare devil in you and an all electric range of 99 miles all that is needed is buyers who would want to sit in the damn thing for an hour and a half. In 2009 Obama flew to Elkhart, Indiana, "To announce $2.4 billion in highly competitive grants." Highly competitive? May we ask about the competition? If the best choice for $2.4 billion in eco-friendly largess had three bankruptcies in its history what the hell did the competition have going for it? One might assume the competition lacked the audacity to ask $42,000 for a vehicle the Transportation Department would brand unsafe it were powered by gasoline but in 2009 audacity and hope sprang copiously if not eternal. To no one's surprise Think City has followed has followed Solyndra and a dozen other green firms into insolvency, disappointment and failure but what the hell it's only money.
