EnerVest "Excited" About the Utica

These tanks are set up to collect natural gas liquids and oil produced by the Frank well, drilled earlier this year by EnerVest and EV Energy into the Utica shale. It was the first horizontal well to receive a permit in Stark County. This is quite a site for someone used to seeing the typical one or two thousand gallon storage tanks. Absent pipeline construction crude will have to be trucked to Canton and eventually to Catlettsburg, Kentucky as Utica production expands.
EnerVest has released some production data from two of its wells. The Frank well is producing 870 barrels of oil equivalents per day, with a mix 360 barrels of oil, 312 barrels of liquid gas and 1.2 million cubic feet of dry gas. The Cairns well is capable of producing 1,690 barrels of oil equivalents per day consisting of 729 barrels of oil, 587 barrels of gas liquids and 2.2 million cubic feet of dry gas per day.
So what has Sherrod Brown done for Ohio lately?
