I don't know anything about Purple Strategies other than it polls likely voters in battleground states but if it's accurate things are looking good for team Romney. Briefly here is how they describe themselves: "Purple is a fully integrated, bipartisan team that excels at merging red and blue perspectives to find effective strategic solutions. We look to build a consensus that will support a public affairs initiative, influence a debate or stimulate change. Our team includes experts in opinion research, strategic communications, grassroots, government affairs, digital communications and creative."
Now that the readers know as much about Purple Strategies as I do let's get to the numbers. Forget what the smart asses at NBC said about Ryan and his budget. Of the four men polled; Romney, Obama, Biden, and Ryan, only Ryan has a net favorability with 45% favorable and 39% unfavorable. In the Florida poll Obama/Biden have only a 1 point edge on the protect Medicare question. In this poll PS polled 4 battleground states; Colorado, Florida, Ohio, and Virginia. Obama leads in Colorado; Romney leads in the other three states.
