One would expect Obama to pretend to love his country and respect his office at least until after the election. He should have to explain to the voters why he refuses to salute the flag. Almost immediately after the shooting the FBI stated that the incident was not terrorist related and to this day describes the wanton slaughter of brave soldiers as "work place violence." A grieving country waited and watched the television as the death toll mounted. Then came news that Obama would address the nation. Instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks. At the event, a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior's Bureau of Indian affairs, the president thanked various staffers and offered a "shout-out" to "Dr. Joe Medicine Crow -- that Congressional Medal of Honor winner." What a freaking looser!
