There
is no doubt that the Lame Stream Media has ignored the DOJ and BATF's
poorly conceived operation which has come to be known as "Fast and
Furious." The lone exception to this has been CBS Evening News and
Sharyl Attkinson who won the 2012 Murrow Award for her coverage of
the scandal reporting that she was the first to shed light on the
subject.
In
reality, that's far from the truth.
Bloggers,
Mike Vanderboegh, of the Sipsey Street Irregulars and David Codrea of
the Gun Rights Examiner were the first. But, as bloggers they have no
standing in journalistic award circles (sarcasm) and their contributions will
probably be lost in the dark veils of history.
...or, maybe not.
Vanderboegh
has had “sources” feeding his updates on Fast and Furious
(Gunwalker) and has written of these events for two years. Today,
his blog states that, according to his sources, at least one and possibly more “high level”
DOJ employees have “come in from the cold” and have approached
Congressman Issa looking for whistleblowers status.
“What they bring with them from the cold, according to one source, is "the keys to the kingdom as far as Holder is concerned," adding "if this comes out before the (contempt) vote (on 20 June), then Holder is toast." Said another, "not even Boehner will be able to stop it. Hell, he'll really jump on board and act like it was his idea."
Eric
Holder's offer at yesterdays Senate hearings to meet with anyone who wanted to meet with him to
avert a “constitutional crisis” has fallen on deaf ears with
Congressman Issa and his investigative committee. The above is
probably the reason why.
This
is going to get interesting and it is going to get interesting real
soon. Can't happen too soon, as far as I am concerned, and it couldn't
happen to a more deserving useful idiot – Eric Holder.
I have a feeling that June could be a bad month for the Anointed One.
Update 6/13/12 22:16
As if Eric Holder does have enough on his plate he faces an imminent corruption scandal -- this adds a little fuel to the fire.

Holder needs to go. He'll probably find someone worse, if that's possible.
