"Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance." So said Barack Obama as he kicked off his 2009 world apology tour with a speech in Cairo, Egypt. Reflecting that 6 US servicemen have lost their lives in the last week or so to "tolerant Islamists" who are presumably so upset that tolerant Barack Obama has had to apologies twice for his intolerant military it seems the great apologist might be a bit off the mark. And reflecting further that tolerant Islamists in Iran have sentenced to death a young father of two for converting to Christianity it seems absurd that the MSM would focus on a speech Rick Santorum made in 2006 at tiny Ave Maria College while ignoring the remarks Obama made on worldwide television when Newsweek's Evan Thomas gushed "I mean in a way Obama's standing above the country, above - above the world, he's sort of God."
Obama may be a Muslim god and Santorum may be a Christian zealot but I'll settle for zealotry before deity.
