The White House is taking hypocrisy to a new high. Probably correctly judging the constitutionality of the individual the mandate the same White House that would deny religious institution the constitutionally protected freedom of religion is organizing a prayer vigil for Obamacare prior to Supreme Court oral arguments The New York Times reports;
On Wednesday, White House officials summoned dozens of leaders of nonprofit organizations that strongly back the health law to help them coordinate plans for a prayer vigil, press conferences and other events outside the court when justices hear arguments for three days beginning March 26.
Respect for the office of the presidency alone should preclude Obama from organizing demonstrations of any kind let alone the sacrilegious display of his willing dupes praying that the power to repress religious freedom is sustained by the Court. To Obama his sycophants are demonstrating what he erroneously refers to as "the freedom to worship". The is no "freedom to worship" in the constitution rather there is the freedom to Practice religion. The prayer vigil as a PR stunt is expected to coexist with rank intolerance as public policy, and the White House itself is encouraging the stunt. Shame!
