The Gallup Unemployment Rate

In an earlier post I asked readers to ignore the actual numerical difference between the BLS unemployment rate and the Gallup unemployment rate and focus on the slope of the line. In that post I made the point that both organizations use different but accepted statistical and polling methods and the Gallup unemploymnet rate is not seasonally adjusted. Again focus one the line and notice the .5% increase. Expect the figures released today to reflect that increase. I'll predict a 8.4% rate which should send Obamabots into panic.
