In addition to prostrating himself to Muslim leaders who cater to Al Qaeda such as the Saudi king, he is pushing Israel toward becoming an even tinier country.
Consider this also.
- Panetta just announced troops will be leaving Afghanistan a year earlier than planned. Unfortunately no one told the AFghanis, who fear the return of the Taliban. (If you want to see what life was like under the Taliban, watch The Kiterunner, if you can.)
"If the Americans withdraw from combat, it will certainly have an effect on our readiness and training, and on equipping the police force," the official said, adding that his government had not been informed of the change in plans.
- And Dr. Afridi's involvement with identifying bin Laden:
The Guardian investigation discovered that Afridi was arrested in late May and was subsequently tortured. It is believed that he remains in ISI custody but has not been charged formally with any crime. The fate of the doctor has become another source of tension between Islamabad and Washington, with American officials pressing Pakistan to free him so he and his family can be resettled in the US.
- Not only is this administration negotiating with the Taliban, who have sworn to murder us at all costs, five of the very monsters caught on the battlefield may be released as part of the deal, "at least one has been accused in the massacre of thousands of Shiite Muslims in Afghanistan, according to U.S. and other assessments" (AP.)
- Now we learn that pictures of the dead bin Laden most probably will be released just before the election. Townhall:
The cynic in me has to hand it to this administration -- rather than publish the images just after bin Laden's death occurred, they've managed to withhold the information long enough to time the release with the 2012 election. The president has demonstrated his willingness to politicize the infamous terrorist's death, and given his many broken promises and failures -- most notably on the economy -- who could blame him? It's the one bright spot in his otherwise disappointing presidency. Perhaps the timing is unintentional, but I somehow suspect that the Obama reelection team doesn't mind. One thing's for sure, though: Obama certainly won't be blaming Bush for bin Laden's fate. What all this says to the world is not to get involved with Americans. Certainly don't help them, even if the endeavor is an honorable one.
Like the Fast and Furious endeavor which appears to have been engineered politically to encourage gun control in the States, no one seems to care about the hundreds of Mexican lives lost from the release of guns in the wild.
This government doesn't seem to be too concerned about the Lives of Others, but rather perpetuating their own fiefdom.
Sort of like an elite 1%, wouldn't you say?
