So much for momentum and Rick Santorum. He could well finish fifth in New Hampshire. The latest PPP poll shows that 76 percent of the voters have made up their minds, unlike Iowa that had something like 40 percent undecided up until the last day. The breakdown is as follows;
- Mitt Romney 35%
- Ron Paul 18%
- Jon Huntsman 16%
- Newt Gingrich 12%
- Rick Santorum 11%
- Buddy Roemer 3%
- Rick Perry 1%
Numbers 2 & 3 need to go.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sarah Palin that the party can't ignore Ron Paul's people. Paul brings a lot of new people into the party. He attrachs a lot of young people and some people are saying that the purpose behind this run is to get some influnce on the platform committee. That seems plausible to me as he must know he'll never win the nomination. I like most Paul's principles but yes we could do without him.
ReplyDeleteIt's weird, though, his followers and the way they behave. I'm sorry but it's very cult like. They remind me of Ross Perot people.
