LA County public officials won't be held accountable

Reason TV is a libertarian organization concerned with the rights of American citizens and the encroachment of government regulations on American life. This video covers the rights of people who live in the desert near Los Angeles.
What's most interesting about this video appears toward the end, when all public employees (supervisors, development engineers) refuse to do their jobs by publicly commenting on their behavior and police actions.
In these interviews, citizens (whose homes are in general eyesores) who live far out in the desert with no nearby neighbors are told by county officials they have to move off their property. They suspect that the county officials have long range development plans for the land.
Once again, government employees play the parts of overlords.
Can't wait for government health care.
