HCG vs abortion pills for 12 year olds

In the news this week we have a couple excellent examples of government nannyism.
On one hand, the FDA has announced they are cracking down on HCG supplements. The complaint?
  It doesn't work. It's a scam. It's fraud.
Also it's dangerous because people often do it with a 500 calorie diet and they might get dizzy. Or something.
  Here's the thing.
If I want to spend my money on what the feds think is a scam, then I have the right to do that; if the government wants to warn me about that, fine. I'll consider it.
The problem with FDA "logic" here is that HCG works.
It not only works, it works tremendously well.
I know this for a fact.
HCG has given hopelessly overweight people the incentive and opportunity to dump unwanted pounds.
And as far as the the dizziness goes, well, I guess we're big people who can decide if we get dizzy then we won't take it.
On one hand, you have Michelle Obama hectoring everyone to get out and moooove, threatening companies to withdraw their products and reminding everyone how fat they are compared to her arms.
On the other, you have the feds taking away a product that really works because THEY think it's a scam.
  So which is worse?
Being fatter than Michelle Obama's arms or risking dizziness? Or deciding that a certain product isn't for you because it makes you feel unwell?
Here's the government's unintentionally hilarious warning against HCG.
Not only does the speaker appear to have two stray eyes, she has to stop talking for several seconds after each little admonition. Don't they have video editors at the FDA?
This same FDA approved the use of a morning after abortion pill for children 16 and younger....over the counter.
The only reason it was not approved to be sold in your local drug store is that Sebelius, who is a huge proponent of abortion, overruled the FDA in a "rare move."
It seems that the FDA is run by corrupt individuals who do not have the best interests of fat or young American citizens in mind.
