The 2012 Mud Fight
Mitt Romney said yesterday that Barack Obama's uncle, Onyango Obama, should be deported. Romney made the remarks in response to a question on Howie Carr's radio show. Maybe it would be a little too obtuse for Romney or any other GOP candidate to start shaking the Obama family tree. That's why we have PAC's. Conventional wisdom tells us that since Obama cannot run on his record he will attack the Republican candidate with a billion dollars worth of negative campaign ad. The opposition will have had four full years to research Obama's family, friends, and cronies and it's a target rich environment. The Robinson side of the family starting with Michelle's $320,000 per year no show job offers promise but just on the paternal side we have two illegal aliens, and I use the word alien deliberately, Tony Rezko, Bill Ayers, Reverend Wright, Larry Sinclair, a pair of wako parents, and that's just for starters. In Obama's own words, "White folks greed runs a world in need" ought to play well to the white working class his party has elected to desert and you can bet we'll hear that phrase ad nauseam. It will not matter that the mainstream media will decline to cover these stories. Political action groups will spring up like wild flowers, funded by the enemies the administration has made and they will buy the air time to get the message out. And it will not matter if the eventual Republican nominee tries to run a positive campaign; the PAC's will be independent and they will be brutal. Going negative in 2012 will be a two way street.
