So the stinko occupiers have been moved out of Zuccotti for the day, even while appealing to an ACLU judge to stay the action, which she promptly did, and then was summarily overruled.
The NY Times notes, apparently without irony, that Bloomberg "defends" his action, as if it were controversial and ill informed.
To local businesses alone, the cost was half a million dollars, not to mention property damage, cleaning up poop from their doorways in the morning and generally trying to keep the freeloaders away from their establishments.
Last word is they'll be allowed back in without tents and are now roaming the streets looking for another park to defecate.
Perhaps Bloomberg decided to move because of their threats to massively shut down Wall Street.
The occupiers also cut the fence of a sympathetic church parking lot (ed. can't be too sympathetic if the fence was locked) and try to occupy it, calling it more of a real estate venture than church.
Below is another of the tiresome videos with occupiers screaming, crying and using the F word liberally, as if police action came out of nowhere. Their cultlike chants always seem to include the following vocabulary:
- "The whole world is watching! (repeat 21 x. This presumes we care.)
- Shame! Shame! Shame! (repeat 15 x)
- Pigs! Pigs! Pigs!
- We're abused!
- OMG! They're beating him up! They're kicking him!
- What the F#$K!
- We shall overcome!
- This is what democracy looks like!
- This is what hypocrisy looks like! (new-repeat 5 x)
- We are peaceful!
- I don't see no riot here! Take off the riot gear!(new repeat 10 x)
- We are the ninety nine percent!!! (emphasis on ARE. Repeat 8x)
- Tools of the rich! (new. Repeat 11 x. Reference is to union member policemen)
- Mike check! (Repeat 7 x. This is excitedly in reference to arrestees.)
- Read them their rights!
- Who pooped here? Clean it up! (just joshin.' Nobody's said that except the business owners.
