I'm sure it pained Public Policy Polling, a Democratic pollster to write; " If the Republicans nominated Mitt Romney and the election was today Barack Obama would probably lose Pennsylvania, fundamentally reshaping the 2012 electoral map." The poll finds Obama very weak among white Pennsylvania voters, well below the usual norm for northeastern states, and more like what they would expect from the deep south. Obama trails among white voters 36 to 59 percent. Romney and Obama both poll at 45 percent but among undecided voters Obama only has a 24 percent approval rating.
Notice Ron Paul is the second strongest contender and they omitted Michele Bachmann from the poll.
