Ohio GOP Will Consolidate Its Gains

Ohio Republicans will try to solidify congressional districts rather than trying to increase the numbers in their delegation. Reportedly the districts of GOP Reps. Pat Tiberi, Steve Stivers, Steve Chabot and freshman Bill Johnson will become more Republican. Two Republican incumbents, Reps. Steve Austria and Michael Turner, will be combined into a single district, while Democratic Rep. Betty Sutton will be put into a district currently represented by Republican Rep. Jim Renacci.
