Kasich And SB5 Improve Slightly

According to Public Policy Polling 50% of Ohioans favor repealing SB5 while 39 % would vote to keep it. In May 55% favored repeal and 35% favored keeping it.

Governor John Kasich's numbers reflect this trend. He's still unpopular but not as unpopular as he was in May. He's improved slightly from 33-56 to 36-53. Does anyone see a parallel to Wisconsin in these data? The farther away from the flash point the less the disapproval. While Kasich's 36% approval rating is nothing to crow about remember just yesterday I posted the result of the Muhlenberg College that showed Obama polling just 35% in Pennsylvania. At least Kasich can boast his numbers are going in the right direction while Obama can not.
