Congressman Wu Won't Go

Good news for House Democrats! Congressman David Wu says he's not going anywhere. Politico is reporting that the Oregon Democrat, through a spokesman, has said he has done nothing serious enough to force his resignation but he will not seek re-election. Nancy Pelosi has stopped short of calling for Wu's head instead replying "no comment" when Mr.Wu name is brought up. Maybe a diffident back bencher can ride out a scandal that a motor mouthed New Yorker could not.
