Two interesting bits from Rasmussen this morning. Obama has dropped to -19 in the daily tracking poll. Second hold you breath! Michele Bachman is in second place.
Likely GOP Primary Voters, taken following the candidates’ Monday night debate, shows Romney earning 33% support, with Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann a surprise second at 19%. Georgia businessman Herman Cain is in third place with 10% of the vote. I don't think any of us are surprised Bachmann is doing this well. Of course the inside money will now try to stir up support for Jon Huntsman as the thinking man's candidate but Bachmann came across as a major league heavy hitter in the CNN debate.
I like her a great deal. She has the same "voice" problem Palin has (on an aesthetic level) but her story is really something. She's a smart cookie. Of course, the Chris Matthews of the world have been working on making her look stupid for quite some time now.
