Is anybody here as confused by this s@#$ as I am? (Charlie Sheen, Detroit tour)
Okay, so the feel good story of the day is the Charlie Sheen show in Detroit last night. Living in somewhat near proximity to Detroit one has to wonder why Sheen thought Detroit was the place to start his *winning* tour. I mean, has he BEEN there? Could the reason for this have been revealed in this remark noted at InsideTv?Sheen says he’s going to “Tell some stories about crack. I figured Detroit was a good place to tell some crack stories.” This comment, not surprisingly, does not go over well. “Show of hands who here has tried crack?” Very few people raise their hand. “I don’t do crack anymore, but this is a good f—ing night to do some crack.” The audience boos. It's almost like the decrepit city of Detroit had some kind of appeal for the decrepit Sheen.
So over at Charlie Sheen's Twitter account is his last tweet for the evening: The most honest city in the world honors the most honest man in the universe.
Hmm. Perhaps he wasn't at his own show.
Which is possible, considering his state of mind.
But most hilarious are the comments posted of former fans on Sheen's twitpic who are somewhat, ah, disappointed in last night's, ah, "performance."
One posts a link to Worst Previews.
One laments graphically that he paid $100 in merchandise and now feels like a fool. (only now)
Some anonymous person who has no Twitter history praises Sheen as a winner or whatever.

Here's a tweet lineup of entertainment commenters. Ha.
Alright, it's okay to admit that there's a certain schadenfreude in watching this take place.
Like the fools at Rutgers who deemed it worth their $32000 in student money to have the renowned SNOOKI speak at their university, the fools who paid (it is rumored) up to $150 to see the train wreck whose name is Charlie Sheen, they are getting exactly what they deserve.
Like those who continue to support certain politicians and union officials who promise them the world and then bully everyone else who doesn't agree with their methods, they can't be surprised when the fools wake up and realize they've been taken.
Reality bites.
