I'm a bigshot, you're not

  Funny.
Arianna Huffington seems to be practicing a kind of royalty usually reserved for name calling of Republicans. She not only doesn't pay her employees enough, many of them she doesn't pay at all. Then she sells her business for millions and millions of dollars on the backs of all those volunteer writers. When they protest, she tells them to go ahead, go on strike. Nobody cares. Nobody'll notice."
  Sound like FAIR working conditions?
Or sound like the typical bigshot response? Only my issues matter. Only what I say is racism is racism. Only what I say is underpaid is underpaid.
Well, they're fighting back. Over at the Daily Caller:

A strike called by unpaid Huffington Post contributors received a major boost Wednesday with a call to arms released by the national Newspaper Guild.
The industry association called on contributors not currently on strike to cease contributions and asked members to help by “shining a light on the unprofessional and unethical practices of this company.”
In another I'm a bigshot, you're not ploy, the government is threatening schools, who everyone knows are already swimming in dough, right? with lawsuits over what? You'll never guess. Daily Caller:

Education Department officials are threatening school principals with lawsuits if they fail to monitor and curb students’ lunchtime chat and evening Facebook time for expressing ideas and words that are deemed by Washington special-interest groups to be harassment of some students.
Imagine this. Teachers and principals don't do enough at school and at home, apparently, so the government is expecting them to creep Facebook at night and KNOW, just apparently KNOW what kids are talking about. Facebook has become the depository for numerous crude complaints, slanderous accusations and threats of physical harm.
Patrolling Facebook for such infringements would be a nightmare and a full time job, to say the least. Then when you find such infringements, what are you going to do with the guilty students?
One can only imagine the lawsuits that schools would have to fund to pay for this nightmare.
In our final presentation of "I'm a bigshot, you're not," Big Government has a roundup of the death threats, violence and vandalism by union members against the public and government officials in a post called, "20 days of left wing thuggery." It's necessary to record them in the right blogosphere because the left/MSM have absolutely no interest in even acknowledging this is happening.
  Big Government:
Below, you’ll find a compilation of 20 days worth of the death threats, vandalism, and intimidation practiced by pro-union thugs opposed to Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker’s budget repair bill. Wisconsin is my home state. I lived there until I was 27 years-old in 1993 and most of my family, including my parents still live there. For that reason and because the issue of education and teachers unions has been a passion of mine for going on two decades, I’ve been following this story very, very closely. My original intent was to compile all of this earlier in the week, but after reading Lee Stranahan’s superb editorial I decided to wait and see if that might have some effect on the national and local Wisconsin media in moving them towards giving the ongoing violence, intimidation, vandalism, and overall thuggery occurring at the hands of union activists and their supporters, the coverage it needs and deserves.
So, yeah. As you go about your work today, just remember.
They're bigshots. They can do anything they want. You're not and you can't.
