We miss you, Ronald Reagan

This video at Gateway Pundit is a compilation of 60 Minutes interviews with the Gipper. His words are more powerful today than when he said them years ago, particularly the part about citizens withdrawing from politics because they feel they can't make a difference, and then being doomed to be governed by people who think the same thing.
Reagan decries the bland safe policies of many Republicans, just to get along. He was a strong leader, unafraid to say what he thinks about every issue.
Not too many leaders, particularly Republicans, are willing to take the kind of stands Reagan took. Only a few come to mind immediately, willing to speak the truth.
Watching this video may not bring to mind the wretched things that were said about this man and his wife, completely unfair, unreasonable and irrational things.
It should be quite apparent by now that the attempt to hijack Reagan's legacy and attach it to Obama is an attempt to steal some of the affection the American people maintain for Reagan.
Though Barack Hussein Obama seems like a nice man, many Americans do not trust him, do not believe he has the good of the country in mind (at least as most Americans translate good as in "jobs" and lack of regulations), and cannot connect with him on an emotional or personal level.
In addition, Ron Reagan jr is trying to destroy the policies of his father by discrediting Reagan's state of mind when he made those decisions.
Great video. See it at Gateway Pundit:
