Stop it. Just stop it.

To other blogs who think that this blog advocates violence, spiteful rhetoric or HATE speech, in any way, you are attempting to establish a connection that is not there and never has been. Saying coarse and profane things about the left simply sinks to a level we prefer not to do.
We have nothing but sympathy for Congresswoman Giffords' family members, who are free to say anything they wish about anyone. Suffering people have that privilege, considering the circumstances.
In addition, let me make it clear that the only reason, the ONLY REASON we have indicated that the left is far more practiced at hurling invectives, inflammatory rhetoric and, yes, even death threats and symbols, is because of their absurd attempt to make it look like the right does the same kind of thing THEY do.
Indeed, the hypocrisy of the individuals who, without one iota of proof or truth, are claiming that right wingers, tea partiers and Rush, Palin, Beck, Sean have at any time or in any way indicated violence are, forgive the expression, dead WRONG.
If you can't figure it out, people, this guy was NUTS. Your attempts to tie the tea parties to violence are LAME and RIDICULOUS.
Limited government advocates are not ANTI-government.
This wackadoo had no proclivity toward the right. Friends have indicated that his proclivities were left, not right.
Does that make the left responsible for him?
  He is INSANE.
He's had a gripe against Giffords for over 3 years.
Your attempt to make these horrible murders about rhetoric is transparent to most reasonable people.
It's obvious you just want to use this heinous act for political advantage and to gain more power, yes, MORE POWER over the speech of the free peoples of this country.
If you can stand to read the truth about the left's violence and hate speech, go here to read about it. Don't be eating when you read it, though, because it's very difficult to stomach. Michelle Malkin. She also reveals that the phrase "job killing" is now considered violent by the left. Now. Really.
  There's more here.
Remember, the ONLY reason this has come up is that the left is repeatedly accused the right of using violent rhetoric.
The left wants to use this situation to seize power, and they have adopted this meme to do so.
What's really happening here is that political opportunists are at work, disregarding the truth and trying to ruin the good names of those who fight for freedom in this country.

  1. absolutely right on target, oops..can I say that? Both the right and the left need to take caution before we start to ban speech with bad words in it. When are we going to grow up and more importantly help the next generation grow accountable as well. When we were kids the old "sticks and stones" was used to teach us about speech vs actions. It is time to tell politicians, left wing idiots, right wing extremist, rich people, poor people, minorities and majorities... HEY, YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW, and the person's behavior you should be most concerned about IS YOUR OWN...its the only one you have real power over. I agree "STOP IT", just Stop it.

  2. Yes, but I have a feeling this whole mess is going to blow up in the faces of those attackers who rounded up the usual suspects for the firing squad. But it's okay; I can hit back with my words. I try to be, as you say, on target as often as possible, but it's difficult when you are shooting blanks.
