The emperor has no clothes

Washington Times columnist Kuhner seems to think that Obama, He Who Will Turn Back the Oceans, is a finished president because he's lost his faithful leftwingers. I'm not convinced of that. It's an interesting read though. Here's the link to WT:

The strategy, however, is doomed to fail. It does not solve the root problem of Mr. Obama's presidency - namely, that he lacks the depth, experience and maturity to be a successful leader. His embrace of a new pragmatic liberalism is simply rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic; The Democratic ship is sinking.
A clear example was his petulant behavior at this week's press conference, where he sought to defend the tax deal. Mr. Obama tried to justify his surrender by referring to Republicans as "hostage-takers" (previously he has called them "enemies" who need to be "punished"). In other words, they forced him to swallow all the extensions.
All around the world, some people are conservative and some people are liberal and lots of people are in between, although the names conservative and liberal mean different things in different places (shudder).
A while back, conservatives decreed liberalism dead.
A while back, liberals decreed conservatism dead.
Neither are going away. This is the nature of politics, as one country swings right and then left.
The problem occurs when we are, as a country, moved so far one way that it is almost impossible to come back to sanity, except incrementally.
If anybody can do it, Americans can, however. Engrained in our genetic code is the idea that individualism and freedom are gifts from God, not meant to be subordinated by any human being.
This particular emperor, and that is indeed what he thinks he is, has exposed himself for all to see. You can remove narcissism from the DSM but that doesn't mean it went away and that being a narcissist doesn't have serious ramifications on those of us suffering under a naked emperor.
Wait til all those techies figure out what he's trying to do to the internet. Whoa bessie.
