Even as Senate Republicans approved a “moratorium” on congressional earmarks, a small but significant contingent of the caucus is openly vowing to flout the new rules.
Led by Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski, the contingent is “going rogue” against the party’s leader in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, who Monday made a high-profile switch to back the earmark ban.Murkowski, in an incredibly petty moment, claimed the other day that Palin wasn't fit to serve and that she just didn't think "Palin enjoyed governing."
Well, that's a reason to vote FOR Palin, IMHO. Anyone who ENJOYS GOVERNING is never going to leave and that's really not the purpose of running and maintaining office, unlike what most of these yo-yos think.
Quite revealing and nettlesome, that remark.
