Boehner: new faces and old

While the Boehner attempt at populism by flying commercial is appreciated, it is no longer practical for the man who is third in line to the presidency to fly commercial, even though this is the way he has flown for years. It is simply not safe for Boehner to do this. Politico has this story.
While admittedly no one really wants to see a grown man cry (okay, or women either. Nobody wants to see anybody cry), the AP hit piece on Boehner was one of the meanest "professional" hit pieces ever written, in contrast with the admirable crying that Bill Clinton did, which showed he was one of the people and truly cared for others.
But the truth is Boehner seems like an emotional guy whose responses are real and natural, unlike the phony populism of Clinton who uses every manipulative tool at his disposal to win politically.
Anybody who knows an easy cryer knows it's really tough to control and it springs naturally.
Here's hoping Boehner gets a grip. He seems to be rising to the challenge offered to him as the new Speaker, though there was some doubt at first. Pretty funny how the young guns are going to get a chance to be seated at the control of the party in an attempt to give the tea partiers a voice. This acknowledgement is the way it should be, instead of the good ole boy network that has existed until now, and it bodes well for the new Congress in that the party establishment is willing to share power with newcomers.
OTOH, democrats are frustrated by the old faces that represent the new 112th Congress and the fact that any new faces (ha!) won't be allowed at the table. The party of the decrepit, the embedded, the stodgy, the old.
