2012 elections: what's coming?

Several indicators that Olympia Snowe won't have such an easy way to go in the next election. Dems are actively pursuing her to switch parties. Her Republican supporters are preparing to mount a challenge in an independent party candidate, just as Snowe is getting a tea party conservative challenger.
She's not the only Republican who may be challenged.
Pajamas Media has a rundown of the most endangered seats for 2012.
Some deep thought needs to go in to whom to support. While O'Donnell was not the best candidate, still, she was the only one to run against Castle. OTOH, perhaps a true conservative cannot be elected in a narcissistic, freeloading, debt-ridden, mooching, liberal state like New York.
  Deep thought needed.
  Maybe not exactly now.
  In a few months.
