Obama's problem: he's a dud

Over at NRO. Well said, Mr. Potemra.
Apocalypse Now fans could have great fun continuing with this idea; the Tea Partiers are errand boys sent by grocery clerks to collect the bill, etc. But back to the point. The most important thing to know about Obama in 2010 is not that he has some sort of hidden agenda, but that he is a dud as president — and everything we need to know about that is out in the open. (Lest anyone wish to dismiss my opinion as the partisan ravings of an Obama-hater, I suggest they click here. I didn’t vote for him, but I felt genuine patriotic pride in his election; and my strong wish for the first few months of his presidency was that he would accomplish something worthwhile, because the country’s in deep trouble and doesn’t have four years to waste in getting out of it.)
As we watch the jobs leave this country and head out to the netherlands, we are seeing entrepreneurs and the people who actually do the hiring bashed at every chance and, ultimately, leaving the country, particularly high tax states as New York. These things are fairly simple to understand, if you have half a brain.
Spend yourself into oblivion, they say to businesses, just like the government does. Tax anything that moves. Stop production of anything that offends left wingers. Throw money at any crazy idea that has been floating out there for years, and especially if it involves controlling the lives of citizens. Don't save anything. Don't acknowledge your debt. Continue the procedures that have gotten you into the position you're in already, especially when it comes to lending for purchasing homes by people who can't afford them.
Nobody's supposed to make any money any more because it hurts poor people if some company somewhere is making a profit. And why not think that way. That's the way the government works.
And above all, don't forget to blame Bush when people question you.
For quite some time, many of us have suspected the America bashing by this administration is intentional. Certainly the hiring of communist individuals, etc., IS intentional. But perhaps this president is simply clueless. Perhaps he cannot relate to anyone other than the commie-types to which he's become accustomed. Who knows?
Potemra sure seems to have a point here.
Maybe he is just a dope.
We can hope that that's all that's at work here.
