Morning roundup

So why are Republicans and conservatives always dumb and democrats and liberals always so smart? Ever wonder that? So why is the answer to the question, "Why the heck is this guy doing so badly?" "Well, it's because he's so smart." I never remember EVER politicians or media saying any Republican or conservative was smart. EVER.
Even John Kerry who, btw, served in Vietnam, was supposed to be so smart that he could hardly put his pants on because he was so distracted by all the brainiac things going on in his massive head.
  And people bought that.
So now Mondale is saying Obama is SO smart that he needs to feel the pain of the "small people" and put away the teleprompters.
Huh. Not. He's NOT smart, ok? Bearing in mind that he is the president of the United States, let me say respectfully HE'S NOT SMART. HE'S AN.....okay, I'll stop.
Now we find out that Napolitano isn't spending money on border security.
  Why would she?
After all, the border is more secure than it ever has been. And she was a governor down there so she should know! Over at CNS:
(CNSNews.com) - The Department of Homeland Security, the federal agency created by President George W. Bush to keep the nation safe from terrorists, also spends millions of taxpayer dollars helping hungry and homeless people in "communities impacted by unemployment."
And hey, why does that Blumenthal think he can say he served in Vietnam and then say he's sorry? How does THAT work?
The delusional Ed Schultz thinks his rally was as big as Beck's. You be the judge.
Byron York has some theories on why 400 major organizations could not compete with the passion of Beck's rally, over at the excellent Washington Examiner:
Because the labor movement is shrinking, aging and divided. Because the best program its leaders (and co-sponsors at the NAACP) could put together was one featuring Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Richard Trumka, Van Jones and Harry Belafonte. And because George W. Bush is no longer in the White House. Put those factors together, and Big Labor's big march fell flat.
Rahm Emanuel is facing hurdles in running for mayor of the windy city. Plus he got heckled. The dang jobs thing again. Heh. Plus he filmed his "It's so good to be home" video in DC. So profound.
