Evening roundup

The Obamas are encouraging y'all to help GET OUT THE VOTE. Perhaps this means transport busloads of high schoolers to the polls on school time with democrat voter guides in one hand and ice cream cones in another. Regardless, the rhetoric of "our" president is violent, rather than encouraging. Gateway Pundit:
Barack Obama gave his marching orders:
** Obama: “They Bring a Knife…We Bring a Gun”

** Obama to His Followers: “Get in Their Faces!”
** Obama on ACORN Mobs: “I don’t want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I’m angry!”
** Obama to His Mercenary Army: “Hit Back Twice As Hard”
** Obama on the private sector: “We talk to these folks… so I know whose ass to kick.
** Obama to voters: Republican victory would mean “hand to hand combat
O'Donnell's opponent in Delaware Chris Coons  carries a grudge and a mean memory. He has a history, as most of the current crop of liberals, of mistreating those with whom he disagrees. Hey, if they vote this guy in, who also likes to spend money (other people's money) they deserve exactly what they get. Here:
WILMINGTON, Del. (AP)- A third lawsuit alleges that New Castle County Executive Chris Coons retaliated against county employees because of their political views.
Steny Hoyer threatened his black Republican opponent? Wow
Immediately after the exchange, Hoyer turned to Lollar and said, "I'm coming after you," according to a press release issued by the Lollar campaign this morning. "When Lollar brushed aside the challenge with a smile, Hoyer then repeated it." Lollar spokesperson Patt Parker told somd.com that Hoyer made this comment after the microphones had been turned off.
Is the taxpayer subsidized Volt a fraud? IBD:
We heard GM's then-CEO Fritz Henderson claim the Volt would get 230 miles per gallon in city conditions. Popular Mechanics found the Volt to get about 37.5 mpg in city driving, and Motor Trend reports: "Without any plugging in, (a weeklong trip to Grandma's house) should return fuel economy in the high 30s to low 40s."
Whoo. Ann Coulter takes Chris Coons down and throws him on the mat, stomps on him and knocks him out:
In all of life's tribulations, there is nothing so aggravating as being condescended to by an idiot. In last week's CNN debate in the Delaware Senate race between the astonishingly well-spoken Christine O'Donnell and the unfortunate-looking Chris Coons, O'Donnell had to put up with it from Coons for 90 minutes.
O'Donnell wiped the floor with Coons, moderators Wolf Blitzer and Nancy Karibjanian, and the idiotic University of Delaware students asking questions -- all of whom were against her.
Wow. Drudge has a link up to that toll booth scandal that is really incredible. Money for conferences nobody attended. Scholarship money for their kids. Bonuses for doing nothing. On and on it goes.
