Blumenthal- pimple on the butt of America

  That's what Richard Blumenthal is. He took 5 deferments to get out of going (which many people did) but has repeatedly claimed to be a veteran of Vietnam, even claiming to remember taunts and jeers when he came back. Caught, now he claims to have "misspoken."
  How anyone thinks they can get away with this in this information age is inexplicable. 
  Why would you do this in the first place? 
  Does this man live in a fantasy world? 
  What arrogance of power do you claim that makes you think you can get away with saying anything so egregious and self-aggrandizing? 
  What comfortability with the press does this liberal democrat enjoy that he was so confident that no one would call him out on it?
  When a baseball team manager is fired from his job for doing the same thing, how on earth can we even think of sending a man to the Senate, guilty of such egregious personal flaws and lies?
  In a debate last March, Blumenthal claimed that the numerous lawsuits he has brought against businesses have created jobs. Yeah. That's what we want to do. Create jobs by suing people.
  How this guy is even in the race for senator is inexplicable.
